Russell Lucius Laffite Was Granted A New Trial

Russell Lucius Laffite was one of the bankers that worked with Alec Murdaugh to steal money from his clients. He's been granted a new trial because the court removed an alternate without giving the defense an opportunity to object without the defendant present.

He will most likely be out on bail like the last trial. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know when a new hearing is scheduled. This is a federal case, so it won't be televised.
